Wooden Spoon is also very good at catering to nutritional restrictions whether you are vegetarian or gluten-free there are options for everyone.

Crispy Falafel
Grandview Heights & King George Corridor
Known for: Shawarma & Gyros
Crispy Falafel has started their first location over 10 years ago in downtown White Rock. They have now expanded to 3 restaurant locations with two in South Surrey, and one in Coquitlam. Crispy Falafel is host to some of the best Lebanese food in the lower mainland. Coming at an excellent price for generous portions, ‘Crispy’ will never let your taste buds down.
Some of the suggested dishes to try are the shawarma plates, as well as their classic shawarma wraps. And don’t forget to try their falafel, it definitely lives up to the name!
If you go during lunch or dinner hours, as most people do, expect a bit of a wait since everything is made fresh and prepared to order.

Looking for some home cooking, but mom is out of town? Mac Jacs Road House Grille offers quality home-style meals with classics like chicken schnitzel, liver & onions, prime rib, and their infamous homemade pies! Above and beyond the quality home-style food, they have some fun decor that will take you back in time, sitting in retro-styled booths and table settings.

Moby Dicks
White Rock Beach
Known for: Fish and Chips
Moby dicks are possibly one of the most well known White Rock restaurants. First opening their doors in 1975, Moby Dicks has been serving up their traditional fish and chips in cardboard boxes and newspaper to beachgoers. Located at East Beach right along “the Strip” at White Rock, it can be spotted easily with the classic blue building and big white whale.
The restaurant is decorated with tastefully-tacky but very fitting whale and fishing memorabilia and collectibles.
The restaurant itself is always pretty busy, however during the summer months even more so, therefore we suggest you order through pick up a window where you can grab your fish n chips and go eat picnic style at the beach across the street! Just make sure to take a look inside at the funky decor!

Uli’s
White Rock Beach
Known For: Schnitzel and Handcrafted drinks
If you’re looking for a slightly higher-end option along the White Rock strip, you have got to check out Uli’s! Operating on white rock beach for over 30 years, Uli’s offers Euro-inspired tapas, bistro, and handcrafted cocktails. Serving local and fresh ingredients when possible Uli’s will undoubtedly delight the senses with their unique menu items. Depending on the time of year you visit, Uli’s offers variations within their menu items, giving each visit a unique twist.
Beautiful ocean view we highly suggest you stop by for appies and drinks during sunset hours. With Uli’s being one of White Rocks most well-known restaurants we recommend you get a reservation before you go whether its summer or winter!

Cabin
Crescent Beach
Nestled in the heart of crescent beach, the cabin is a cozy place to settle on a chilly night and enjoy some excellent food. Having a wide variety of menu items inspired by the Pacific Northwest ranging from seafood to fine cuts of beef and even offering gluten-free and vegetarian options. If you’re looking for some excellent craft beers as well, they have you covered at The Cabin.
Prices are a bit higher when compared to other local restaurants, but it comes with a unique atmosphere and dining experience. If you’re thinking of somewhere for a romantic night out this is the spot.

Emilio Finatti Pizza
Downtown White Rock
A well known local classic, Emilio Finatti has been serving pizza in White Rock since 2005. Starting with only the one location in WhiteRock, they have now opened up another location in Langley.
Emilio Finatti has all the standards of a classic pizzeria, flour across the cooking space, dough flying through the air, and delivery boys running through the doors. If you are looking for a pizza fix, not your standard chain pizza, we highly suggest Emilio’s. They also recently added gluten-free crust as an option allowing more people to enjoy their delicious slices.
They offer pick up and delivery, a perfect option when you just move into your new home!
